Core Tor This is a support category for Core Tor (sometimes also called as little-t-tor). Issues and bug reports are tracked in our Bug Tracker. Censorship Circumvention This category is for discussion on Censorship Circumvention. Direct access to the Tor network may sometimes be blocked by your Internet Service Provider or by a government. Tor Browser includes some circumvention tools for getting around these blocks. These tools are called pluggable transports which are namely obfs4, meek and Snowflake. More information about the pluggable transports can be found in the Tor Browser User Manual. Also take a look at the FAQ in the Support Portal. Tails This is a support channel for Tails. Tails is a portable operating system that runs from a USB stick or DVD and is designed to protect your privacy and anonymity by forcing all network connections through the Tor network. Tor Browser Desktop This is a support channel for Tor Browser on Desktop. Tor Browser uses the Tor network to protect your privacy and anonymity. In addition, it is designed to prevent websites from “fingerprinting” or identifying you based on your browser configuration and, by default, does not keep any browsing history. Cookies are only valid for a single session. You can download Tor Browser for Windows, macOS and GNU/Linux from our website. Tor Browser for Android This is a support channel for Tor Browser for Android. Tor Browser for Android is the only official mobile browser supported and developed by the Tor Project. Onion Services This is a support category for Onion Services. Onion services are services that can only be accessed over Tor. Running an onion service gives your users all the security of HTTPS with the added privacy benefits of Tor Browser.
