Tor Browser Desktop This is a support channel for Tor Browser on Desktop. Tor Browser uses the Tor network to protect your privacy and anonymity. In addition, it is designed to prevent websites from “fingerprinting” or identifying you based on your browser configuration and, by default, does not keep any browsing history. Cookies are only valid for a single session. You can download Tor Browser for Windows, macOS and GNU/Linux from our website. Censorship Circumvention This category is for discussion on Censorship Circumvention. Direct access to the Tor network may sometimes be blocked by your Internet Service Provider or by a government. Tor Browser includes some circumvention tools for getting around these blocks. These tools are called pluggable transports which are namely obfs4, meek and Snowflake.
