I found this unofficial Tor Network Status page when researching about the old “BlutMagie” Tor Status page which used to exist for awhile but was eventually retired. (You can find more about this by searching the web and there is at least one thread in the old Tor mailing list about the retirement of BM."
This site is really packed with information, it may cause a heavy load on your browser though since it’s showing the nodes one by one with all the information you’d probably ever need to know about them and their status.
I don’t run this site or have any relation to it at all.
If only more sites had that ethos. Discourse is a burdensome JS app that can’t keep up with my typing. What a lousy experience. Let alone trying to read without JS enabled. And before too long, in order to add more gewgaws, many people will be shut out.
It’s a ~ 15 megabyte webpage, quite large. I didn’t check to see if it was sent compressed. All 211 occurrences of “script” didn’t show any signs of JavaScript.
What are you asking?
I hope that page is cached for awhile, it seems expensive to generate.
I wanted to promote a classy “unofficial” node list because it is so cool!
I congratulate “webmasters” who promote zero-to-minimal JavaScript use.
Thanks for your links, especially the .onion site links!
Gladly! When I was but a young, immature, wet-behind-the-ears squirt, I didn’t like onions. My younger brother didn’t either. Instead of onions I let the home cooks (parents) know we considered them unyucks. The plants in the dining room got some free fertilizer at times.
But now I’ve begun to grow up, I don’t want to imagine not consuming them.
For folks looking for a mapping of Tor Project domain names to onion addresses, here’s the official onion patch:
Hey @gus, why did you move this thread from General to Support? I’m certain you had a great reason, I’m just curious because I’m not a relay operator and I don’t need support.
Please let me know, I intend to close this thead since it’s under Support. Thanks!
@clown, your topic isn’t about receiving support directly, however, relay operators looking for support are likely to find that resource more relevant than those reading the general discussion.
