Orbot for this use case

My cousins are in a state where they have blocked reddit, telegram, discord, twitter and other messaging apps. Certain vpns with servers in the country are ok to use but here is what the official rules say

VPN providers and data centers are expected to log:
Your full name, physical address, email address, and phone number
The IP address you used to register for the VPN, together with a timestamp
The IP addresses you use connect to VPN servers in the country, together with a timestamp for each connection
A list of all IP addresses issued to each customer
Your reason for using a VPN
Failure to comply can lead to one year in prison.

Some of these blocked platforms are either mobile only or they don’t work if used through the tor network like reddit and twitter. All these websites and apps work well with orbot which uses the tor network but orbot doesn’t connect at all when we select a bridge like obsf4 and sometimes the browser shows real ip even if full system protection is enabled.

Checked many threads about orbot on this forum and people are facing similar issues with orbot

Is there any solution for these issues? Since orbot is not working well, so can any vpn be trusted in this use case?

Usually in the tor documentation it is said that selecting an exit node is not good for anonymity. So, why does orbot give an option to select an exit node?
