ATOR - legit or not

Hei,

What is ATOR? 1000+ relays and 13Gb of traffic are having the contact as @ator

https://metrics.torproject.org/rs.html#search/contact:@ator

Also some time ago at a tor relay operators meeting was a guy called AirTor that said he want to make something but it was kicked.

This seems related, but it is legit?

Looks like “transparency” is only required for people who donate their resources, but not for people with banhammers.
Abovementioned article is not only made far too late, but also tried to hide information more than to share it.
For example, no mention of banned project name, no mention of amount of banned relays, no mention of which requirements or rules were violated by relays.
It rather tries to simulate transparency and openness.
