due to what i presume is windows 10 dpi scaling settings i have set, Tor Browser’s default window size and fullscreen size on my 1920x1080 screen have an irregular reported screen size.
this causes fingerprinting tests to single me out as unique.
given i’m reluctant to change the system-wide dpi scaling on this machine just to appease tor,
is there a way to force the browser to have the nice, expected window and canvas sizes on launch so i can be more anonymous again? or do you think it’s a non-issue and i’m fine?
- i thought of a canvas spoofing extension (e.g. chameleon), but guidelines suggest i shouldn’t add anything to the browser.
- maybe a program to somehow launch the window at a correct size?
- or an about:config setting i don’t know about?
specs:
windows 10 ltsc 2021, tor browser 15.0.6, dual 1920x1080 screen setup with custom dpi scaling to ~~125%.
