Why can't I upload images using the TBB?

I am using 14.5.6 under Ubuntu 24.04 and the Standard security level.

I upload an image (.jpg or .wepb for example) for my profile photo on LinkedIn or into a WhatsApp web chat. However, the image looks like the screenshot - the actual image is never uploaded.

The real image can be uploaded in any other browser. Can anyone please explain why the TBB prevents the image from being rendered.

As you can see below, the image is replaced with this rectangle.

Try uploading a .png. Works for me, while .jpg does not.
