Where to get bridges for android (smartphones)?

It seems that bridges for Windows are different from bridges for Android?
Where to get bridges for Windows is clear. Where to get bridges for Android?

You can use telegram bot @GetBridgesBot, this link or send an email to bridges@torproject.org, leaving the email subject empty and writing “get transport obfs4” in the email’s message body. Please note that you must send the email using an address from one of the following email providers: Riseup or Gmail.

It’s the same.

If we talk about Tor Browser, bridges can be introduced as in Windows in the same format and they can be requested from the application itself and support mĂșltiple Bridge types (obfs4, snowflake, webtunnel)

Orbot It also allows the same format and requesting bridges from the application itself but does not currently have webtunnel support.

As others have mentioned here, there’s no difference.
I am curious how you arrived to this conclusion? For instance, if the same set of bridges worked for you on Tor Browser Desktop and didn’t work on Tor Browser for Android, it will be worth investigating. Please share more information in that case:

  1. What version of Android? (e.g. Android 13. etc.)
  2. What version of Desktop operating system? (e.g. Windows 10, macOS 14, Fedora Linux 40, etc.)
  3. What version of Tor Browser? (see, How can I check what version of Tor Browser I have installed? | Tor Project | Support)
  4. Tor logs.
  • To copy your Tor logs on Tor Browser Desktop, navigate to the hamburger menu (“≡”), then click on “Settings”, and finally on “Connection” in the side bar. At the bottom of the page, next to the “View the Tor logs” text, click the button “View Logs
”. Please copy all of the lines and share with us here.
  • To copy your Tor logs on Tor Browser for Android, tap on the settings icon or “Configure connection” when on the “Connect to Tor” screen. Then navigate to the “Connection” section of the Settings and tap on “Tor Logs”. Please copy all of the lines and share with us here.

Hi, I wonder why Tor browser on my smarthone doesn’t connect. I received the bridge via email. Installed it on Android 10 smartphone with Tor version:

14.0.3 (128.5.0esr) (Build #2016058234), git-0ad899bf7109

GV: 128.5.0-20241125154204

AS: 128.0.1 GTG

Here is a log I get:

[WARN] Controller gave us config lines that didn’t validate: Bridge line did not parse. See logs for details.

Hi! From what country you are trying to connect to Tor?
You can request bridges from our telegram bot - Telegram: Contact @GetBridgesBot

From Russia.

I requested a bridge using the link you provided, and got the same error:

Please contact our support team, email - frontdesk@torproject.org, Telegram - @TorProjectSupportBot - probably new bridge type - webtunnel - will work better for you

Also please check that you paste the bridge line correctly, as I see some extra symbols and broken bridges lines there

Thanks for help. I got webtunnel and that solved the problem for me.
