What triggers a new docker image for obfs4-bridge?

Hello everyone,
I’m a new operator, running an obfs4 bridge via the official docker setup (docker compose).
I can see that the Tor version is not the most up-to-date, version 0.4.8.10 (linux) is reported on relay search while I’ve seen some bridges running 0.4.8.12, if I’m not mistaken.
Under which conditions are new docker image versions pushed? And is it both a security and performance issue to stay on 0.4.8.10 for now?

We do update the docker image when there are important updates in tor or the pluggable transport. There is not mayor issues staying in 0.4.8.10.
