I just opened a request for supporting Tor connections directly in Chromium. This would be a big undertaking, so they probably won’t do it unless they see a lot of interest.
Therefore I invite you to go and star the bug and write a comment explaining why you want to see Tor in Chromium: 1321395 - chromium - An open-source project to help move the web forward. - Monorail.
even if google chromium allows tor it won’t change much since google chromium is not a 100% free software. So, at any time, it could still monitor a bit like a spyware (especially since google doesn’t have a great reputation in privacy).
