Video freezes at 1 minute on youtube

Recently, videos on YouTube have often started to freeze, this has never happened before
I noticed that if you change the tor circuit, then at some point the video loads

  • Windows 10 Pro
  • Last version
  • Standard Security Level
  • 1.Launching a browser
    2.Go to YouTube
    3.Launch any video

I noticed the same on regular Firefox + SOCKSv5 several weeks ago, then it disappeared for a long time and now it is back again. Funny thing: I did not upgrade Firefox when the problem came back.

I also noticed it yesterday with Tor Browser 14.0.3 on Windows 10 Home.

Try disabling “NoScript” for all websites, helped me .

This seems to happen even to Firefox users

You’re right. I have tried connecting to Tor via its SOCKv5 interface with Kodi + YouTube plugin and it works fine, no freezing.

imho this is collateral damage of Alphabet/Google trying to ban adblocking on youtube…

maybe Alphabet and “The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs"/“The United States Agency for Global Media” or who ever is responsible in this case will have an agreement in the future^^ :us:
