[tor-relays] OneProvider using now Scaleway AS

Hi everyone,
Until now, I’ve been managing three exit nodes with OneProvider (WIIT), which is generally considered Tor-friendly. But apparently, they’re now working with ScaleWay, and my fourth server in the Netherlands—which I’d just set up—was suspended in less than 24 hours, and I have to pay $100 to the UCPROTECT mafia...

I just wanted to let you know that they’re now using AS12876 (Scaleway SAS), which is already well known...

As for me, I’m switching to maxko-hosting

Why do you need to pay for being unlisted on uceprotect?

This is a service for dnsbl for blocking spammer IP addresses.

If you system is listed in level 1, it sent mail to the spamtraps or did

And try with 51.158.252.2

It costs money, and I don't like it

Oneprovider is a reseller and has been reselling Scaleway products for
years. It has been known for years that starting with the rebranding of
Online SAS to Scaleway, that quality and standards have been in
constant degradation. It is therefore no surprise that they have
suspended your service at the first opportunity.

See feedback for Scaleway:

Their reputation is now so bad that it is hard to think it is not on
purpose. Most likely they would like to redefine who they do business
with and get rid of certain types of customers.

I had been with OneProvider for years, right after my server was suspended by Scaleway... (back during the NTP amplification incident)

I'm running away to MaxKo's
