This has been broken for a while and I found a previous post on the tor forum regarding this issue which seems to have been ignored (421 Misdirected Request on Tor’s i2p mirror). I emailed front desk last month to no response.
The registered I2P addresses for the tor project (with notbob.i2p) fail with an error. Example below.
Misdirected Request
The client needs a new connection for this request as the requested host name does not match the Server Name Indication (SNI) in use for this connection.
Apache Server at blog.torproject.org Port 443
This goes for almost all registered addresses on I2P by the tor project unless these addresses aren’t actually controlled by the tor project directly. Addresses below.
