Tor keeps failing after connected

Recently, my tor keeps failing, alerting:

Tor unexpectedly exited. This might be due to a bug in Tor itself, another program on your system, or faulty hardware. Until you restart Tor, Tor Browser will not be able to reach any websites. If the problem persists, please send a copy of your Tor Log to the support team.

Restarting Tor will not close your browser tabs.

The Tor log says:

Thus. I can only restart tor to resolve it, but it continues, and has happened many times recently. I use Windows 11.

Is Tor censored in your region? If not, please try connecting to Tor without the bridges you have configured right now.

If that doesn’t work, please also mention the version of Tor Browser you have installed.

I get the same result with this site. Also, using curl through a Tor proxy results in a “Can’t complete SOCKS5 connection” error. It may be that their server is configured to drop the response to any requests coming from Tor exit nodes - effectively blocking all Tor access. I have seen this occasionally elsewhere.

If you only need to read pages on the site you could try archiving the page(s) you need (e.g. with archive.org) and then read the archived pages with Tor Browser.

It seems to work. Thanks!
