Is anybody having an issue booting TailsOS using legacy boot (CSM) on UEFI motherboards using
syslinux bootloader? Boot stalls when attempted. Any boot logs available?
It is possible to modify the boot partition from an EFI partition, to a legacy BIOS. On certain makes of
machines, you can boot in CSM (Legacy) mode without an EFI partition. you can also
set relevant boot flags.
Certain makes of desktops and laptops can boot in legacy (CSM) BIOS mode, and certain ones can’t,
the legacy(CSM) mode doesn’t boot.
