I noticed in my journalctl output “org.gnome.shell.screencast.” Curious, and ignorant of Gnome, I did some searching. It would appear this is something which can record the desktop with both video and audio?[1] If true, could this be a goldmine for any devious entity to exploit? I’m not convinced this “feature” is something which would be commonly used for the purposes and intents of this distribution.
Maybe I’m wrong, I didn’t perform a lot of research, but from what little I read I don’t know why it would be a good idea to keep this in Tails, if it can be removed and/or disabled.
