Hi guys, from time to time I monitor the snowflake traffic of my browser add-on. I don’t know how long it’s been like this… but at the moment there are hardly any connections and the traffic is almost zero… has the code been changed or has a way been found to disrupt the connections?
Hi! This could be related to the recent broker migration: [tor-relays] Restart of standalone Snowflake proxies required
However, it appears like only standalone proxies are affected for the most part.
Try restarting your machine anyway.
I am only referring to the browser add-on and do not operate a standalone proxy… I have searched but unfortunately have not found any source code for the add-on. Is it essentially identical to the stand-alone proxies?
No, it’s written in a different language. Here is the source code of the extension:
Ah yes, that’s what I was looking for… as expected, it’s written in java script… unfortunately, that’s not my home either, so it would take a long time to compare it with the Go code.
Perhaps here again to clarify what I’m seeing:
In a monitor session of around 4 hours, there was only one minute in which stun binding requests were received.
Mainly from IPv4 addresses. Not a single request was answered. So no connection is established to the requesting client.
From your answers, I conclude that it is code or operational and not an attempt or attack from outside.
