Stable
Here we go again! Yesterday, we released stable version 0.4.9.14 to address a series of high-severity security issues and some minor fixes.
The release notes below mention the issues that were fixed. However, in accordance with our policy, the tickets containing the detailed information will not be made public for at least another week.
We strongly recommend updating as soon as possible. Debian packages are already available here. Please report any regressions or issues you encounter through our bug tracker (linked above). Your feedback is extremely valuable to our team, especially as we are currently on a rapid release cadence.
These issues affect all entities that is clients, onion services, directory authorities and relays.
Quick note: The Tor Project team will be attending an in-person meeting next week, so the next release will more likely be toward last week of October or first week of November.
As always, a gigantic thank you to our relay operators, bug reporters and everyone helping us with this deluge of security issues.
