Below are the major changes of the released versions and links to more detailed release notes.
Stable
We are releasing versions 0.4.8.25 and 0.4.9.8 because an error was introduced in the previous releases (0.4.8.24 and 0.4.9.7).
Unfortunately, the fallback directory list was accidentally emptied due to a silent error in our CI release build process, which generated a patch that removed all entries. As a result, the previous releases do not contain any fallback directories.
This issue causes new clients joining the network to connect directly to the directory authorities instead of using fallback directories. While this does not impact security, it does create unnecessary additional load on the directory authorities.
We apologize for the rapid succession of releases. As usual, upgrade as soon as possible
