[Onion Courier] Form your own THS Network, within the Tor Network

While, for example, OnionShare is a nice tool, for exchanging data etc., I came up a while ago with the idea to have similar capabilities, but without using Tor Browser. Onion Courier lets you exchange data with your friends, as long as the servers are running and it supports sending messages to Usenet or whitelisted email privacy providers, or Remailer Networks.
It has Middleman nodes and Guard Nodes, to form chains, like Remailers do, when sending messages. Guard nodes are useful if you do not know if your online device is compromised. In that case you prepare your messages on an offline device, encrypt the payload (with minicrypt) and then send it to the Guard node first, which decrypts the payload and forwards it to Middlemen and the final destination.

Onion Courier

If you like Onion Courier and would like to support it feel free to run a Middleman or Guard node publicity, so that I can add it to the list.

For Windows 11 users, an autostart script for oc_server.go was added to the repository.

Added oc_onionmail_server.go so that people can send (unauthenticated) anonymous emails to onionmail.org users, which have an email address with the email domain:

Hi all,

  1. oc_client no longer has the -clearnet option.
  2. Maximum allowed file size, when using nodes, is now 4096 KB per message.
  3. oc_middleman and oc_guard has been replaced by oc_node.
  4. oc_node acts now like a TypeI Cypherpunk Remailer, but without storing messages, nor can it log any messages.
  5. noc, a client for the Nym Mixnet sends via a clearnet TLS connection to Onion Courier nodes, or directly to Onion Courier recipients.
  6. Either with oc_client or with noc, users can send messages to an Onion Courier email gateway, thus allowing to mail to whitelisted domains, such as privacy email providers, m2n’s and Mixmaster or YAMN Remailers.
