One line of the bridge. Is it safe?

Hi
A friend sent me the details of his bridge. I would like to use it, but I have doubts. Normally, Tor uses two guards. Similarly, when I want bridges with https://bridges.torproject.org/ I get two bridges. Does using one bridge have any negative consequences for security, anonymity, privacy?

Likewise. If something happened to my friend’s bridge and it stopped working. If I ask for bridges on https://bridges.torproject.org/ can I use only one of the generated bridges.

Please help

They simply send more than one to have high availability in case one fails.

Do you trust your friend? Then you can have just his Bridge. It doesn’t affect your security, privacy or any other aspect, you know it’s from a reliable source. Switching Bridges to connect doesn’t increase your anonymity.

Yes, you can, of course, and it doesn’t affect your privacy either.

To sum up, it’s better to have a reliable bridge. If you use the ones on the web and only use one, the only risk you have is that you won’t be able to connect. It’s just a matter of high availability.

Greetings
