Not getting guard flag on "stable" relay

I have a cluster of 8 relays on Verizon Fios and four on Frontier FiberOptic.

For some reason, I’m not getting a guard flag, even when other AS701 relays do. Frontier doesn’t have too may relays, I’m the only one on AS46690 but Frontier’s main AS5650 has a few with guard flags.

In the past, the first six Verizon relays were unreliable when they were on Frontier, as my bed combined with the Frontier 802.1X bypass method meant unreliable relays. Then I moved to NYC but still lack a guard flag :sob:. They did get a guard flag on CenturyLink, despite my IP changing so often then. Why? Can it be fixed?

Guard Flag It is given by the authority directories.

There is nothing left to do. I see that many nodes are relatively new.

It’s an old article but I imagine the conditions are similar.

Maybe all you need to do is wait and be a little patient.

On my Verizon relays, I found one line:

DirCache 0

I’m assuming this line prevented me from being a guard, as directory information wasn’t cached and I could never get a V2Dir flag.

These relays used to be on Frontier where I previously dealt with a DDoS attack which has since subsided.
