I would like to switch to dark theme but in Settings > Appearance there is not such an Option.

it was removed as it is is not used since Tor Browser always tells websites to use light theme
If you want the actual browser theme
(ie the chrome, the parts that are not web pages) to have a dark theme, then that already exists - menu > add-ons and themes > themes
The question is how can I achieve in Tor dark background like this?
My Linux Mint theme is dark but the Tor background is light and my eyes hurt.
Dark Reader and Firelux extensions do not work on Tor.
