I don’t know if this is significant, but the throughput of my exit relays (Aramis) keeps going up over the last 6 months. I used to putter along at about 350-500 MiB/s, the totals going up and down a bit. Now I’m up to over 1,000, and it never seems to drop back down. I haven’t kept track, but the number of connections certainly hasn’t doubled in the last 6 months. Is there just more traffic and too few exits?

In some countries the potentates cast decided to block some “heretical” video platforms, which much likely led to the effect of fellow subordinates compensating this by using tor for streaming…
