Lyrebird connection to foursquare

Hi all,
Quick question. I keep an eye on connections attempted by my computer and, yesterday, got a request for a connection by a programme called Lyrebird, attempting to reach foursquare.com.
When I checked what that programme was, I saw that its path was Tor Browser.app/Contents/MacOS/Tor/PluggableTransports/lyrebird.
What exactly is this for? And what should this programme be allowed to connect to foursquare?
