Is it okay to operate Tor-relay only as a middle-node in Korea?

I am running tor-relay with Non-Exit.
While I was running it, I suddenly had a question, so I wrote it here.
The server location of tor-relay, which I operate, is Korea.
As far as I know, in Korea, network logs must be kept for at least 3 months by law. I’m not sure about other countries.

Let me ask you a question here.

  1. For anonymity, is it okay to operate Tor-relay only as a middle-node in Korea?
  2. Is it okay to operate a guard-node as well?

The last one is a different question.
When sending and receiving large files through Tor, is the anonymity of Tor users guaranteed?

Every node is very welcome! Don’t know about law in korea, but make sure to not do anything illegal.

There are never guarantees regarding the security, but Tor is the best network I know for anonymity. Big files suck tho, slow speeds. I’d go for something like torrenting/p2p.
