Hi all, so I got to this forum, it became interesting to ask a few questions
1. There is such a site https://fingerprint.com/ in the demo tab, you can get a fingerprint of your browser that remains constant so that I don’t do anything, i.e. clear the browser, change locations, etc . I had a reasoning that if such a system is installed throughout the network, then these electronic ids can essentially be put in chains and find out the identity. I don’t create panic just by thinking. In this regard, I had an idea how to use remotely, for example, a server, well, for example Debian, and that it should be a screen. No, this is not a remote desktop, I’m talking exactly like a proxy or vpn, only in these cases it’s just a tunnel, it doesn’t replace the definition of the device itself. Here I want to ask maybe someone knows how to make the device be replaced? For example, create a " scarecrow”, i.e. imagine we log in to the network, everyone who wants to do this, and get a certain device that is defined the same everywhere, for example Chrome or Windows 10, well, the entire fingerprint of this particular remote device/ server(also the same). I understand that you can do this with the help of add-ons such as changing the user agent, etc. but still think about it, maybe this is some interesting idea for a new network of depersonalized devices or screens.
When reporting a bug, please include as many of these as possible:
- Operating System you are manjaro kde the core 6.12
- Tor Browser version 15
- Tor Browser Security Level Standard
(Current level)
- I have a Manjaro KDE Wayland system, so if we take any browser based on Firefox, then the picture in the picture never keeps itself, i.e. as soon as we activate a separate window, and then click on the free field, the window goes to the background(collapses). Only in Tor and Mullvad(and this is the same tor without its network), I can safely keep this window pinned by default. I’m very curious about why and whether this can be configured for regular Firefox. What is included in tor so that it keeps this window on its own, without manually pinning it?
