Do all tabs share the same circuit

I am using Linux with Tor 13.0.14 and it appears that tabs in tor all share the same ciruit so if I request a new circuit in one tab the others share the same circuit.

Is it possible to have separate circuits for each tab?

I am able to have a separate circuit for every tab by clicking on the ā€˜Tor Circuitā€™ symbol to the left of the address bar, and clicking ā€œNew Tor circuit for this siteā€ (see screenshot). It works for me in Linux and Windows with Tor Browser 13.0.14. Can you give any more details?

What you described is what I expect. On my Debian 12 machine I was getting the exact same circuit for every tab. It has now disappeared. I will keep an eye on it and update this post if it happens again.
