Discord sign-in doesn’t work with the .onion forum

Because of the way the protocols used for social logins are implemented, I don’t think it’s possible to use them using the onion address. Does it work if you use the clearnet forum address?

Works fine with the clearnet address.

Does Discord really need to contact the forum server? That seems backwards.
