Conjure takes a while to load, possibly domain fronting related

Conjure lately takes quiet a while to bootstrap, I believe that it has to do with the domain fronting like with the recent snowflake problem: (Fix) Problems with Snowflake since 2024-03-01:"broker failure Unexpected error, no answer."

For reference I’m using the following bridge line:

Bridge conjure 143.110.214.222:80 url=https://registration.refraction.network.global.prod.fastly.net/api front=foursquare.com

Maybe conjure’s domain fronting should also be switched to CDN77 like with snowflake?

You’re right that Conjure is also affected by Fastly’s change to their domain fronting policy. Though it means that the old front will not work at all. We haven’t set up Conjure with CDN77 yet, but in the meantime you can try the following bridge lines:

Bridge conjure 143.110.214.222:80 url=https://registration.refraction.network.global.prod.fastly.net/api front=www.cosmopolitan.com

Bridge conjure 143.110.214.222:80 url=https://registration.refraction.network.global.prod.fastly.net/api front=www.shazam.com

Note that the Conjure PT for Tor is still in development and sometimes hangs at 10% bootstrapped:

Many thanks @cecylia, looking forward to when Conjure is setup with CDN77. :slightly_smiling_face:
