I am using Debian 12 with Tor version 14.01 and the security setting of standard. I had a circuit that would not change no matter how many times I clicked new tor circuit.
What would cause this?

Would it not change only when trying to access this onion site?
Or rather it wouldn’t change no matter what site you used?
How did you download TBB?
From the torbrowser-launcher package or manually on the website?
If manually on website, did you PGP verify the download?
I downloaded tor manually. Tor linux version 14. SHA256: 44db138fcfc73f5d049488eeb580aaa79d2037b5bb2b3f8303de2b92453f55a2
For the web site displayed in the picture it would not change when I pushed the button. I then did a new identiy and it worked after.

Always verify the signature with PGP.
Interesting I never heard of that since new identity I thought just clears the cache/cookies?
