There are still a lot of these old videogame consoles sitting on shelves, gathering dust, and not doing anything. I know that they can be homebrewed. Is there any way to configure them to run snowflake proxies 24/7, so as to get some use out of them while helping the tor network?
Firstly, I want to make it clear that it is pointless to run more than one Snowflake relay from the same home (same IP address).
Now, about actually running. First you got to either:
- Run a Firefox or Chromium browser on Nintendo Wii
- Run Linux (or/including Android) on Nintendo Wii
If you succeed in that, adding a Snowflake proxy on top should be relatively easy. I don’t know if there is a more direct way to run Snowflake on Wii.
