I setup Thunderbird on the latest Tails and received email to my inbox. I then tried to setup a second address and it wouldn’t let me. Also how can I view my REAL IP address in case I need to get remote help?

this is a community for tails.thunderbird is not managed or maintained by the tails team.for thunderbird help,look at the official documentation.
about your IP address,you can’t see your real IP address while everything use the tor network.if you go to IP info or something else,you will just see your tor exit node IP address.
