Call for Testers: Help the Tor Project test the release candidates for Tor Browser 14.0

Hi everyone!

It’s that time of year again, where we are getting ready to release the next version of Tor Browser based on a the new major Firefox ESR (you can get an overview of all the work involved in our 14.0a1 release blog post).

It is getting close to our scheduled release date of October 14th, so now would be a great time for the community to take the latest Alpha releases for spin! The latest alpha releaes can be found here:

If you are interested in becoming a tester, please go and download the latest Tor Browser Alpha release for your preferred platform and give it a go and report any problems you run into either here or on our gitlab.

Beyond just ‘kicking the tires’ (so to speak) we also have a test check-list/itinerary the devs will be going through for all of our supported platforms:

If you are feeling adventurous, we would also appreciate it if community members sampled from these checklists and ensure the scenarios you care about work as you would expect in our Tor Browser 14.0 release candidates.

And as always, thank you so much to all of the community members who use our software, report bugs, and submit patches!
