I don’t see any issue in the logs + Nyx
Is it possible that distribution mechanism remains None hence the bridge is not advertised because bridge is located in Hong Kong?

I verified manually if the bridge is working and all is good but unfortunately is not distributed :frowning:

It’s hard to say whats going on without knowing what you have in your torrc regarding bridge distribution. Knowing what you have for BridgeDistribution and PublishServerDescriptor would help.

See also here: How do I change my bridge distribution method? | Tor Project | Support

It was not relevant to share torrc config because I have this config to other 4 bridges and there I have no issue with distribution mechanism.

Also here I have requested a new identity, I have rebooted the server and it seems now the distribution mechanism is ok.

Will monitor the situation and post updates

Have you checked you can connect to Tor through your bridge, for instance by pasting its bridge line in TorBrowser?

Yes and is ok.

I have a similar problem. And a quick search indicates other people have had issues where a Bridge relay is up for a while (ie. 6+ months), then switches to a distribution of none, but no-one seems to get a good answer.

My Bridge:

obfs4: functional
Bandwidth Ratio: 0.863743
Last tested: 2023-10-02 20:34:31.621618943 +0000 UTC

On the torproject metrics page I have good user count and bandwidth throughtput, everything normal except distribution changed to none from HTTP for no reason about 2 months ago.

Is this just an anomoly? Is it a design feature, that once a certain amount of throughput is reached TOR decides it doesn’t need more clients or to be advertised?

@Jacko if you didn’t specified an bridge mechanism in torrc i guess it’s normal to change. TOR decides what is better/what are the needs for obfs4 and chages the mechanism.

Meanwhile my obfs4 is stable if it doesn’t change again to None until the end of the week i will close this thread

I think there was a connection/filtering issue because rvery couple of hours the mechanism was displayed as None, then was again on Settings then again None/Settings/etc

Also in a month has did only 50 Gbps of traffic (much less than my snowflake(s) are doing daily) so I decided to stop it and to never rent a VPS in Hong Kong for any TOR related server
