I know that Wordpress can be used by Ubuntu and is compatible with Tor, but what other free to use websites can be used by Ubuntu and would work with Tor?
For example, would any of the following work or would they be incompatible:
As long as the service is reachable over TCP, I think most would work through Tor. This includes (but is certainly not limited) to popular software like WordPress, Nextcloud, Drupal, Joomla, Grafana, Gitea, AdGuard admin panel etc. etc. Many of the popular site builders should also work just fine, unless they block Tor IP addresses from accessing their services.
Do note however that the Tor network is relatively slow due to the nature of how it works and that big bloaty websites will probably be slow. For example this includes CMS like WordPress with a few plugins and the bloaty Wix sites full of unnecessary JavaScript.
The best sites to access from the Tor network are static sites (where dynamic content is only loaded when it can’t be done statically).
