Hello all. I want to create a bootable USB for Tails 7.5, configured with persistent storage that remains persistent in-between boots for any files or settings I specifically choose to maintain.
I believe the process to configure something like that requires accessing the Tails “Welcome” dialog during the first USB boot to setup/configure at that time.
The problem I have not found a solution for is the horizontal resolution of my graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER) at 3840x1920 pixels.
With that as the target video card, USB Tails boots to two, 1920-wide pixel ‘views’. The active view that I’m guessing displays the Welcome dialog is not visible, off-screen to the left.
Is there a key-stroke that will bring that view to access the Welcome dialog into my viewing area? Or any way to create persistent, persistent storage another way?
