A process of this unit has been killed by the OOM killer

I just deployed two now snowflake proxy
Said this time will use normal build apt install snowflake-proxy

After process gets killed (don’t know why) i returned to my usual docker setup.

Which version of Snowflake did you get? It’s probably outdated

Will we get an updated snowflake-proxy package somewhere?

I’m sorry, but I’m not sure when will be updated. I’m failing to find the time to keep the package updated. Our official supported ways to install it are either docker or building it from source. I’ve being trying to add debian packages to the mix, but clearly we don’t have the time to keep them up to date. If someone wants to help there I’m happy to point out how the package is built.

Hey @WofWca thanks for the clarification , yes is an old version, in fact I’m using ubuntu server 22.04 that gives me 1.1.0-2 version With this information, I now know that I should continue compiling from the source to ensure that the Snowflake nodes are up-to-date and functional thanks.

Debian 12 and Ubuntu 24 it shouldn’t give me this errors hence i checked and OOM is not even enabled. Now just doesn’t matter i moved this to docker because all my docker setups run smoothly.
