Here’s a patch to build tor latest release on OpenBSD -stable channel:

The latest version of tor is usually made available on the -current channel (where port development occurs) very shortly after a new release, but is not “backported” to -stable if it does not fix security issues.
This patch is basically a “backport”, which makes it easier to build yourself tor-0.4.8.4 (and benefit from its new features) on OpenBSD -stable.
