32bit ubuntu tor relay?

I found some old hardware in the basement and managed to install a 32-bit Ubuntu server on it (xenial).

I downloaded the GNU/Linux (i686) package, but I don’t get it to run. Instead I get the following error, when i run ./tor :
“error while loading shared libraries: libevent-2.1.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory”

Anyone that knows how to get the i686 version to work?

Install Debian 12 (bookworm), it has full i686 support.
Enable backports repository (bookworm-backports), you’ll get the latest Tor version from there: Debian -- Details of package tor in bookworm-backports
