I’ve just sent an email to the gettor@torprpject.org,in the body of the e-mail I wrote
windows,and instead of the links for downloading Tor Browser,got a manual about downloading
this web browser via e-mail.
Just sent an email (not via gmail) to the address mentioned here with empty subject and content “windows”…after a minute the answer arrived with two download links.

The response body should include the following sections with the first including links to download the .exe and .asc files.
Step 1: Download Tor Browser
Step 2: Verify the signature (Optional)
Step 3: Get Bridges (Optional)
I note there is a typo in the email address you’ve typed into this post, so you may want to check you sent the email to the correct address. Did you get the email address from support.torproject.org or the onion address @tobrop has posted? If you got it from anywhere else you should not trust it. The correct address is gettor@torproject.org. Thankfully it looks like no one is typosquatting on torprpject.org

If the email you received has a different content from what I’ve described above it has not come from torproject.org.
