[WARN] Could not read your DNS config from '/etc/resolv.conf'

When I upgrade my servers with Ubuntu 24.03 I get the above warning message when I start Tor. There is no resolv.conf in my Ubuntu 24.03

I think your server’s network configuration (not related to Tor) might be broken. On Ubuntu the network management software is often NetworkManager or Netplan, consult their documentations to setup DNS servers.

Note that if your server serves as an exit node, you need to configure your server’s DNS server as your server provider’s DNS server, not pointing it to any other DNS servers like 8.8.8.8 or 9.9.9.9.
