# The "Continue to HTTP site" button in HTTPS-only mode doesn't work

the “Continue to HTTP site” button in HTTPS-only mode doesn’t work  
11.5 (based on Mozilla Firefox 91.11.0esr) (32-bit)  
my system is debian stretch(linux kernel)  
standard security level  
the problematic HTTP site: [http://60.199.209.72/](http://60.199.209.72/)  
other HTTP site as [http://info.cern.ch/](http://info.cern.ch/) is work properly in my test.

Hi @piers.nicolai, we happened to spot this bug a little earlier. As you’ve pointed out it seems to only be affecting IP addresses, and sites with domain names are otherwise fine.

Unfortunately granting an exception via the site info menu or within Privacy Settings for the address doesn’t seem to help either.

Hopefully a workaround and/or fix can be identified soon. In the meantime, please follow this ticket for updates:
