State of the Onion livestream only on Youtube

Hi

I am looking forward to joining the 2025 State of the Onion tomorrow! I have a small question though.

It seems that the event will only be broadcasted on Youtube. And while I fully understand that choice considering ease-of-use and maximal reachability, IMHO the livestream for next year should also be accessible on a slightly more privacy-friendly platform like e.g PeerTube.tv.

I think using and promoting more privacy-friendly alternatives aligns nicely with Tor’s mission.

What do you think? Good luck to the speakers of the event! :slight_smile:
