Hey there, so there’s that option which allows the client and relay (first hop or all?) to enable connection padding, but because some people want padding, others maybe don’t, then doesn’t

ConnectionPadding auto make it so if the client wants to enable padding, they do, and then the relay detects that, and starts padding, too? What if a relay operator enabled ConnectionPadding 1? Then all clients, even those that didn’t configure that would recieve those padding packets? So should relay operators enable it, even?

Thank you.

If I am interpreting this correctly, only Tor clients can configure “ConnectionPadding”, and relays have the capability depending on Tor version 0.3.1.7.
