# Keys compromised

My keys got compromised. They were leaked in a AI chat (by silly me) and I need to flag them.

1. How do I rotate the keys, identity key fingerprint, hashed identity key fingerprint, identity key ed25519 fingerprint?
2. How do I revoke these as valid keys? They should no longer be used by a relay.

1. Stop tor
2. rm -r /var/lib/tor/\*
3. Start tor

Tor will regenerate new keys, and your relay will start from scratch. You might want to edit /etc/tor/torrc and change the name of your relay to BlahCoolName_ **2** _ but that’s up to you.

thanks my relay needs to build up repution but that is ok
