I hoped to install Tails to an external hard disk (like removable hdd/ssd) since they’re usually much more durable than a USB pen drive with often less-than-ideal quality flash, but reading through all the documentation gave me the impression of it is not recommended to do so . Is it official position that Tails is not supposed to be installed onto an external hard disk ?
I know how to find a reliable USB pen drive ( buy your USB stick from an international supermarket chain ), btw. So that kind of advice is not necessary, thanks.
