How many hidden services (onion services) have enabled the Proof of Work (PoW) defense scheme?

Hello everyone,

It’s been nearly a year since the release of the PoW defense scheme, and its design and implementation seem promising thus far. However, I’m curious about its actual usage.

Could anyone confirm if we are actively utilizing this defense scheme? Of course I can check the hs descriptors of various services myself, but I thought I’d inquire here first in case someone already has the information.

If you have a comprehensive list of onion services, you can do a scan and parse their descriptors. In the end, you’ll get whether these onion services have POW turned on or not.

Well, it looks like no one has the information, so I guess I’ll just have to test it by myself.

You can scan and test with onionprobe.
