How do I use Facebook with Tor Browser? Tor’s onion address doesn’t work. Does anyone know of a method?

To actually answer the question: if the address you’re trying is the old
facebookcorewwwi.onion one, that’s why it fails. Every v2 onion address died when
Tor dropped v2 support back in 2021. The v3 one is
facebookwkhpilnemxj7asaniu7vnjjbiltxjqhye3mhbshg7kx5tfyd.onion, but don’t take
that from a stranger on a forum, check it against Facebook’s own help pages first.
Fair warning though, people here have been reporting that onion being unreliable
and logins failing on it for a long time, so it may not work for you either way.
Plain faceboo in Tor Browser is the other option, just expect security checks,
and logging into an existing account over Tor is a good way to get it locked.
And the two jokes above are pointing at something real. Tor hides your IP from
Facebook. It doesn’t hide you from Facebook. You’re logging in under your own name.
