[Tor Project | Debian / Ubuntu](https://community.torproject.org/relay/setup/bridge/debian-ubuntu/) sais:

> On [Debian](https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=obfs4proxy), the latest version `obfs4proxy` package is available in stable-backports. By default, backports packages are not installed, so to install the latest version of `obfs4proxy` you need to use the following command `sudo apt install -t bullseye-backports obfs4proxy`

This is no longer true. Debian stable is `bookworm` not `buster` and it ships `obfs4proxy` version `0.0.14`, the most recent [release](https://gitlab.com/yawning/obfs4/-/tags) and [package](https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/obfs4proxy).

This page should be updated.

In the simplest way, the entire paragraph “4. Install obfs4proxy” could be replaced by:

> `# apt install obfs4proxy`
